The Foundation sent letters to relevant government departments, to report breaches at the privately owned site at Tai Long Sai Wan. The incorporation of Tai Long Sai Wan into Sai Kung East Country Park was also recommended.

基金向多個有關政府部門發信，指出大浪西灣一塊私人土地上的違法情況，又建議將大浪西灣納入西貢東郊野公園。
The Foundation organized a workshop jointly with Produce Green Foundation, to start serious discussions among potential settlers/farmers interested in Lai Chi Wo. Senior village representatives attended, which reflected their interest in the concept of re-vitalizing Lai Chi Wo. The workshop revealed that it would be a very complex project with multiple dimensions.

基金和綠田園聯合舉辦工作坊，與有興趣定居荔枝窩或務農之人士認真地探討，資深村代表也参與重建茘枝窩的概念。經此工作坊，大家認識到計劃涉及多個範籌，將會十分複雜。
Representatives of the Foundation met the Environment Bureau, to explain the Foundation’s proposal and the breaches of the columbarium project regarding its claim as a Private-Public Partnership (PPP) project under the 2004 New Nature Conservation Policy. Follow-up letters were sent.

A proposal “Better Conservation for Sha Lo Tung and Hong Kong”, aimed at solving the long-standing problem of private land within the Sha Lo Tung Priority Site was sent to the Chief Executive and key officials. The key concept was that government should acquire the privately-owned land in Sha Lo Tung through value-for–value non in-situ land exchange.
